Installation is presented as a modern translation of the well-known Delphic oracle, an exhortation for self-knowledge.
This work is part of a series of works by Elena Davari entitled “resynthesis, a dialogue of the modern with the ancient”. Dialogues between the ancient Greek world with the world of today.
The unit of works includes visual installations that deal with timeless concepts and values from classical antiquity. The Greek language and writing serve as a connecting link, presented in a new contemporary form.
