My Story
I have spent most of my childhood under the shadow of the sacred rock of the Acropolis . . . watching it transform and change aspects and hues… becoming golden, silver, blue, pink . . . as the seasons and hours march by her side . . . as the sunrises and sunsets pass her by…as the rains and hot noons lie in her arms . . . sweetening the engraved rocks and the elaborately carved marbles . . .
I always admired and tried to capture within me the beauty of a neighborhood full of light, where nature, modern life and the breath of antiquity coexisted . . . in a daily walk, a school excursion, a lesson (or when we skipped classes!) and in the exciting Acropolis rally race, that as teenagers we could not wait to watch . . .
In my childhood home I can still recall my dad’s love for photography . . . You could always find some antique cameras lying around along with the ones he used, as well as my own hiding somewhere in there . . .
All of these stimulations and many more, created within me a passion for capturing the moment. I enjoy holding on to a single frame, imaging it in all its being, shaping it and loving it uniquely. The experiences of my youth cultivated a strong desire for connecting parts of the eternal yesterday with aspects of today . . . real memories and fantastic stories, past and present, a link between the light and other archetypical elements . . . words, ideas and information, that flow like a river between visible and invisible drawings and writings . . .
These notions largely inspire my artistic journey and lead me to explore the ways in which the art of yesterday and the art of today co-exist, trigger our memory and recreate a multisensory enjoyment.
With a fresh pair of eyes, I strive to reimagine the things which I have already observed and loved in a certain form. In my artworks I love playing with the light and the imprint of the memory. For me the presence and absence of color is equally important . . . the color which is playfully present . . . the white which as a fresh canvas is ready to accept new meaning . . . the black and white aspects that focus on hidden stories and sensations.
Photography as a means of expression, printing, collage, sculptural forms . . . these are some of the mediums use. I especially love the cold natural texture of metal and the warm bright look of marble, the smell of paper and ink. Sometimes I like to revive and reimagine existing objects by giving them new meaning, new look, new life . . .
I adore interdisciplinary storytelling and experiments . . . that may take you to familiar places, but also to a journey through uncharted waters . . .

Art and Cultural Diplomacy "Art, a message to the world . . . Art as a bridge of Cultures, art as a bridge of Communication."
-The Petit Paris d’Athènes festival –
Discussion on the influence of impressionism and art in general, on politics and diplomacy. Hotel Wyndham Grand Athens.
Art, from ancient times to the present day, is a universal language that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries.
Its ability to evoke emotions, stimulate thought and create loud or silent dialogues with its audience makes it a powerful tool for communication in general and for the cultural diplomacy of each country.
Through art, we can inform, provoke, raise awareness of contemporary challenges, propose solutions and, above all, inspire action.

Communication is connecting things; is connecting people and ideas.
Creativity is connecting things better.
Creativity comes from emotion and reason.
When derived from an emotional approach creates increased comprehension and optimization, which leads to effective communication and a very strong impact on the people.
Effective communication gives power and, responsibility for the outcome is derived from that power

"Ethos, Pathos, Logos, Aristotle's three pillars of persuasive communication. Today.”
12th Annual Congress of HAPCO & DES
-Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers-
According to Aristotle, we have the three pillars that lead to effective communication and persuasion:
The appeal to Ethos, that refers to the character of the speaker, to the sincerity and the example that he represents and is used to strengthen the audience’s beliefs about the speaker.
The appeal to Pathos (passion). Pathos refers to the emotions of the audience, is the connection with emotion, and creates emotion.
The appeal to Logos (logic): Logos refers to the use of logical and substantiated arguments, is made up of evidence.
